OAKLIFT_Transformational Breathwork Journeys

My name is LUIS. I’m a certified Life and Transformation Coach, Strategic Interventionist, Speaker, Breathwork, Yin Yoga, Insight Meditation Instructor and biohacker.

I’ve worked with dozens of people and seen the changes these tools and techniques have made in their lives. I've experienced the magic of these practices again and again and right now I’m here to give this gift to you.

There are several kinds of breathwork therapy available today. Many of these have similar foundations. Some well-known types of breathwork include:

  • Holotropic Breathwork

In this type of breathwork, the goal is to achieve “wholeness” of mind, body, and spirit.

  • Rebirthing Breathwork

This type of breathwork also known as Conscious Energy Breathing. is another spiritually therapeutic technique that promotes joy and peace. It’s often used to access the unconscious mind to access people’s deepest thoughts and desires, help them heal from traumatic experiences, or help uncover unconscious negative memories.

  • Shamanic breathwork

Based on the traditions of the Shamans, breathing is used to help practitioners enter a new state of consciousness while helping to calm the body and quiet the mind. Sometimes it is combined with music and movement.

  • Somatic Breathwork

Is a form of therapeutic breathing focused on helping you breathe more oxygen into your body. It’s designed to help increase your awareness of your body, promote positive perceptions of life, and recover from trauma.

  • Transformational breathwork

Sometimes referred to as Transformational breathwork, is spiritual breathing that expands upon holotropic, rebirthing and Shamanic breathwork.

CONSCIOUS ENERGY BREATHING

Or circular breathing which means not taking any pauses between the inhalation and the exhalation, it's circular rhythmical breathing.

It acts as a bridge between the different levels of your mind and takes you deeper and deeper into yourself, into the unknown places within, so that you can shine a light of awareness upon them, discovering and releasing them from your body.

TRANSIENT HYPOFRONTALITY

During a Breathwork Journey what happens in your mind is a phenomenon called Transient Hypofrontality - Which means that by using the power of breath, you're able to temporarily calm down the prefrontal cortex activity.

That's the part of the brain that controls your inner dialogue, and you get fully emersed in the now, without the monkey mind distraction.

HEALING PRACTICE

It’s a self-healing practice to help you work on blocked emotions, tension and trapped energy and with that awareness release them.

in essence is about surrender, it's about allowing with the exhale to let go, again, and again, and again… and connect more with trust and the willingness to experience and realise that we are held by mother earth, by the universe, by life itself.

SETTING A CLEAR INTENTION

It’s essential to set an intention beforehand. Think about what issue you’re facing in life the most right now. Perhaps the issue is a physical illness, trauma, repression...

Breathwork can help you with that, but it can also go to the deeper roots of that issue which are often spiritual in nature. By creating a - drug-free - altered state of consciousness, breathwork helps us to access the realm of our Souls and dip into the ethereal world of Spirit.

MEDITATION

Meditation is a simple and direct way to “see things as they are,” free from distortion. In seeing ourselves and the world with greater clarity, we begin to bring understanding to our habitual patterns of being.

Through the sustained cultivation of mindfulness and concentration, the mind gradually learns to let go of its conditioning and begins to experience a kind of peace that is independent of changing circumstances.
